Discoveries

Since Alex didn't have school today we went with some friends to the Discovery Center.

Johnny's discoveries for the day

1. He is very long winded, proof from the bubble he blew in the picture above and the tantrum he threw over the chicken enchiladas I dared to serve him for dinner tonight. He took one bite and started screaming with his tongue hanging out of his mouth begging for permission to spit the poison back onto his plate.

2. He loves onions. He saw onions on my plate and kept asking for some. I told him that they were all gone but if he'd take a bite of his enchilada I would go cut another one up for him. He finished his plate of enchiladas in no time as long as he got a piece of onion after every bite.

Alex's discoveries for the day

1. Our painstaking trips to the grocery store would be a lot more pleasant if only Alex was in charge.

2. She knows the correct answer to any given question. When Brad came home from work he forgot that she didn't have school today so he asks her "how was school today?" What was her reply? "Good". Good answer Alex. Don't ask a small talk question if you don't want a small talk answer.

My discoveries for the day

1. You can make ice cream in seconds by mixing your ingredients with liquid nitrogen. Quite tasty.

2. Only one cheek is required to balance on a stole while eating ice cream.
(Don't draw conclusions, my nephew had a birthday party tonight, the nitrogen ice cream was made at the Discovery Center earlier in the day)
